He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bedsworth Sr. and Doris Bedsworth; his sister Sarita Thompson; and his brother-in-law Vernon Thompson. He is survived by: his children, George Christian Bedsworth (Emily) and Allison Bedsworth Long (Jonathan) of Beaufort; his uncle Edward Fulcher (Bonnie) of Morehead City; his niece Christi Piner (Eddie) of Texas; his nephew Craig Thompson (Francy) of Southern Pines, NC; his cousin Danny Oglesby of Morehead City; his grandchildren, Gage Keith Long, Kipton George Long and Fisher Kemp Bedsworth; and his close friend Dean Steed (Cassie) of Morehead City.
