With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Wayne McKeel Jr. of Morehead City, North Carolina, who passed away on May 22, 2021 at the age of 21. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandfather Gary Walters; his uncle Stephen Walters; his great-grandparents, Bigmom and PopPop; and his grandmothers, Dot and Lessie.

He is survived by: his parents, Renee Walters McKeel of Morehead City and Gary Wayne McKeel of Beaufort; his sister Amber McKeel Spickett (Patrick) of Beaufort; his niece Kyleigh Spickett; his nephew Kade Spickett; and his grandparents, Lester, Patty McKeel of Beaufort and Geri Walters of Morehead City. He is also survived by his stepparents, stepsisters, many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
