He is survived by: his wife Nancy Parker; his children, Mindy Edge (Bryan) of Elizabeth City, Jennifer Parker (Amer Malik) of Asheville and John Parker of Morehead City; his grandchildren, Ryan Horton of Boone, Alexis and Slade Edge of Elizabeth City; his sister-in-law Margaret Parker; his nephew Robert Jeffrey Parker; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Goldman (Camilla) and Phyllis Wood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
