She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Wyche West and Gladys Small West; her brother Ira Wyche West, Jr.; and her grandson Tony Thompson, Jr.. She is survived by: her spouse Jelder; her children, Gary Thompson (Nancy) of Newport, NC, Tony Thompson of Mocksville, NC, Fay Phillips (Michael) and Kay McCaskill (Carr) of Winston Salem; and her sisters, Toye Thompson of Bladenboro, NC and Donna Thompson of Whiteville. She is also survived by grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren.
