She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Dover Lawrence and Theodore Lawrence; her daughters, Joanne Lawrence and Deana Lawrence; her fathers, Joseph Gillikin and Earle Gillikin; her daughter-in-law Lizzie Lawrence; her siblings, Golda Gillikin, Ross Gillikin, Hubert Gillikin, Luther Gillikin and E. P. Gillikin; and her nieces and nephews, John Hancock, Craig Gillikin, Charlotte Daniels and Betty Wood.
She is survived by: her husband Lester Knudsen; her children, Ella Gillikin (Kendall) of Bettie, Thomas Lawrence (Karen Long) of Harkers Island and Anthony Lawrence (Doreen) of Otway; her grandsons, Thomas Lawrence Jr. (Mattie) of Harkers Island, Makley Joe Lawrence (Angelia) of Harkers Island and Jeremy Gillikin of Bettie; her siblings, Linda Patten (Thomas) of Port Charlotte, FL and Joseph Gillikin, Jr. (Sherry) of New Jersey; her sister-in-law Violet Ray Gillikin of Otway; and her nieces and nephews, Debra Guthrie, Helen Ozturk, Frances Straugh (Francis), Thomas Patton, Jr., Wayne Patton, Stephen Patton, Randy Gillikin, Ryan Gillikin, Delfridea Garner (Bobby), Shanna Chunn (Mike), Latricia Middlemiss (Bryan), Kyle Gillikin (Violet) and Sandy Gillikin.
