With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest E. Russell Jr. of Morehead City, North Carolina, born in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on April 10, 2021 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ernest E. Russell Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Russell and Ethel Russell; his former wife Ida Eaton Russell; and his sons, Robert Eugene Russell and John Richard Russell.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Russell of Morehead City; his daughters, Ann Drown (John) of Summerville, SC and Susan Ida Gerlach (Mark) of Washington, NC; and his siblings, Faye Taylor of Marion, NC, James Russell of Americus, GA and David Russell of Dudley, NC.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
