It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Morris Betts of Morehead City, North Carolina, who passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Brainard Morris and Irene Morris; her children, Shelley Lyn Conner of Clayton, NC, William Morris Betts of Spokane, WA and David Carlton Betts of Fishers, IN; and her grandchildren, Aaron Conner, Caleb Betts, Noah Betts, Nicholas Betts, Melissa Conner and Ryan Betts.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 7:00 AM and on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cape Carteret Baptist Church (101 Anita Forte Dr, Cape Carteret, NC 28584).
