She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Taylor (Jay) of Morehead City, NC and Lisa Johnson (Cory) of Morehead City, NC; her siblings, Marsha Gibbs (Kenny) of Engelhard, NC and James Sanders (Peggy) of Immokalee, FL; her grandchildren, Shelby, Samuel, Zackary and Claire; and her former husband Retired Colonel Robert H. Upchurch.
