She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Piland and Geneva Gregory Piland; and her brother Fontaine Piland. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Workman; her sons, Dennis (Juliana), Kenneth (Kris) and Gary (Lisa); her grandchildren, Charlene, Sarah, Steven and Rebecca; and her brothers, Gwin and Steve Piland.
