She was predeceased by: her mother Josephine Gervase (Azzarello); her husband Robert W. Hompesch (Bob); her daughter Barbara Hanson (Hompesch); her son-in-law John Brett; her siblings, Mary Ellen Gervase and Richard Gervase; and her sister-in-law Mildred Gulamerian (Hompesch).
She is survived by: her children, Gail Brett of Remsen, NY and Robert Hompesch Jr. (Annika) of Sweden; her son-in-law Nels Hanson; her grandson Nolan Hanson; her great grandchild Noah; her granddaughter Julie Lord Hompesch; her great grandchild Olivia; her grandson Alex Hompesch of Florida; her nephews, Mark Gulamerian (Joni) and Richard Gervase; her niece Suzanne Gervase; and her sister-in-law Dolores Gervase.
Elaine can be honored through a contribution to the First Presbyterian Church, Morehead City, NC, to Community Home Care & Hospice, Swansboro, NC, or to Carteret County Humane Society, 853 Hibbs Rd, Newport, NC 28570.
