Dorothy Saunders Proctor Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Saunders Proctor of Morehead City, North Carolina, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clinton Offie Proctor, Sr.; her son Clint Proctor; her parents, Bennie Saunders and Mary Ethel Saunders; and her siblings, Janice Dail and Raymond Saunders.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Proctor Manning (Mel) of Morehead City; her daughter-in-law Becky Proctor of Castle Hayne; her grandchildren, Jeremy Proctor (Christa), Katie Billings (Jonathan), Christopher Manning (Meredith), Tyler Manning (Rebecca) and Blake Manning; and her great grandchildren, Emilee Proctor, Jaxson Proctor, Dustin Carroll, Haleigh Carroll, Davis Manning and Noah Manning. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (400 College St NE, Wilson, NC 27893). Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
