It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy L. Fleming of Morehead City, North Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Pittman and Eva Pittman; her husband Albert "Al" Stanley Fleming; her siblings, Sadie Quidley and James Pittman; her son Brian Fleming (Ginny); and her grandson Brian Fleming Jr..

She is survived by: her son Doug Fleming (Nancy) of Cedar Point, NC; her brothers, Robert Pittman (Carmen Rodriguez) of Greenville, NC and Thomas Pittman (Nancy) of Hickory, NC; her granddaughters, Alexa Fleming, Pam Byrd (Dave) and Kristin Fleming (Brian Dionne); and her great grandchildren, Michael Byrd, Joshua Byrd, Anna Grace Byrd, Brady Dionne, Vivian Dionne and Virginia Dionne.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Munden Funeral Home & Crematory (2112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557).

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to Franklin Memorial Methodist Church, 1112 Arendell St, Morehead City, NC 28557.
