With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Faye Gillikin (Morehead City, North Carolina), born in White Oak, North Carolina, who passed away on January 2, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Austin McMillan; her former husband Charles Barnes Jr.; and her grandsons, Jonathan Morris and Matthew Morris. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Gillikin; her daughters, Tammy Morris (Jesse) of Gloucester and Valerie Gillikin (Durward Allen Gillikin Jr.) of Harkers Island; her siblings, Betty Allee of Fayetteville, Brenda Godfrey of Winston-Salem and David O'Neal McMillan of White Oak; her grandchildren, Joshua Morris, Cameron Gillikin and Kelsey Potter; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Morris, Miles Morris, Holland Potter and Easton Allen Gillikin.
