It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Fulcher Bedsworth (Morehead City, North Carolina), who passed away on November 24, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George Bedsworth Sr.; her parents, Joseph Fulcher and Carrie Fulcher; her daughter Sarita Thompson; and her siblings, Leura Guthrie, Tommie Fulcher and McNeil Fulcher.
She is survived by: her son George Bedsworth Jr. of Morehead City; her brother Edward Fulcher (Bonnie) of Morehead City; her sister-in-law Audrey Fulcher of Morehead City; her son-in-law Vernon Thompson of Atlantic Beach; her grandchildren, Craig Thompson (Francy), Christi Piner (Eddie), Christian Bedsworth (Emily) and Allison Long (Jonathan); her great grandchildren, Jordan Hart (Josh), Payton Thompson, Noah Thompson, Logan Piner, Jacob Piner, Gage Long, Kipton Long and Fisher Bedsworth; and her nephew Danny Oglesby. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
