He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Slipper and Mabel Elizabeth Slipper; and his grandson Greg Slipper. He is survived by: his wife Kathie Slipper; his children, Susan Lynn Herbst (Al McGarvey) of Morehead City and Don Slipper Jr. (Terri) of Gainesville, GA; his sister Lynn Johnson (Dan) of Cleveland, GA; his grandchildren, Michelle Slipper, David Herbst, Meredith Herbst and Meagan Herbst; and his great grandchild Gavin Wright.
