He was predeceased by: his father James Russell Neptune. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Neptune; his son Mike Neptune (Mary Beth) of Durham, NC; his sister Nancy Pharo (Richard) of Jacksonville, FL; and his brothers-in-law, David Aitken (Nancy) of Morehead City and Thomas L. Aitken (Luanne) of Morehead City.
