We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2022, at the age of 93, Dolores Blackwood of Morehead City, North Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Harry and Essie Primm; her husband W. T. Blackwood; her son Rick Blackwood; her brother-in-law Brian Helms; and her nephews, Kyle and Kurt Bostrom.
She is survived by: her daughter LuAnn Neese (David); her daughter-in-law Joyce Blackwood of Garner; her grandchildren, Rob Blackwood (Kelly) of Clayton, Lane Bourne (Lucas) of Apex and Adam Neese (Brittany Treble) of Norfolk, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Nathan Blackwood, Jacob, Annabelle Blackwelder and Ari Bourne; her sisters, Annette Helms of Newport and Sandra Davis (Bill) of Little River; and her nieces and nephews, Scott Helms of Newport and Shelley Helms of Deep Gap.
