Dollie Britt Mercer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dollie Britt Mercer of Morehead City, North Carolina, born in Orrum, North Carolina, who passed away on October 13, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Asbury Britt and Jeannette Britt; her husband Richard W. Mercer; and her sister Betty West. She is survived by: her children, Paula Mercer of Morehead City, Steve Mercer of Atlantic Beach, Jimmy Mercer (Nita) of Morehead City and Keith Mercer of Raleigh; and her siblings, Nancy Poston of Glade Valley, NC and Barry Donald Britt of Lumberton, NC. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In keeping with the CDC guidelines pertaining to the Coronavirus, those who are ill or at-risk (elderly, immune-compromised) are encouraged to stay home.
