He is survived by: his son Daniel James Zook II of Morehead City; his brother Pete Zook (Annamarie) of Morehead City; and his nieces and nephews, Rebekah Wadsworth (Howell) of Newport, Ashley Fulcher (Don) of Williston, Peter J. Zook II (Kristen) of Morehead City, Mathew Parker Zook (Brigitte) of Newport and Heather Ainsworth (James) of Newport.
