He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Lawrence and Ruth Lawrence; and his siblings, Nancy Lawrence, Jackie Thompson and Larry Lawrence.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Lawrence of Morehead City; his son Shaq Henderson of New Bern; and his siblings, Cindy Cunningham of Havelock and Lloyd Lawrence of Texas.
