With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Gurganus of Morehead City, North Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton Gurganus; her parents, Geneva Guthrie and Ernest Guthrie; and her siblings, Eva Mae Taylor and Ernest Guthrie.
She is survived by: her children, Charlene (Edmund Strong) of Morehead City, Redden Ernest Gurganus "Buddy" of Newport and Clifton Eugene Gurganus of Newport; and her grandchildren, Jason Gurganus, Jessica Strong, Hannah Strong and David Gurganus.
