He was predeceased by: his son Chuck. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Harper Hutton; his daughters, Sharon Hutton Wright of Charlotte, Lee Ann Hutton Peek of St. Mary's and Georgia; and his siblings, G. Thompson Hutton of Chappaqua and Katherine Hutton Pierce of Alachua, Florida.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
