He was predeceased by: his father Douglas F. Clymer. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Clymer; his mother Dorothy W. Clymer of Reidsville; his brother Butch Clymer (Jane) of Morehead City; and his aunt Wanda Blake of Reidsville.
