We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2022, at the age of 79, Brenda Smith Jones (Morehead City, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Henry Dudley Smith; and her brother Rupert Earl Smith of Crab Point. She is survived by: her husband Gene Curtis Jones, Sr.; her children, Melodie Jones Adams (Sam) of Morehead City, Memorie Layne Wadsworth (Albert) of Manalapan, Meredith Jones Emerson (Todd) of Atlanta, GA. and Gene Curtis "Curt" Jones Jr. (Stephanie) of Pikeville, NC; her grandchildren, Austin Curtis Jones and Ansley Rae Emerson; and her brother Henry "Buddy" Douglas Smith of Crab Point.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
