It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Edwards Townley of Morehead City, North Carolina, born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Isham "Blannie" Blanford and Essie Pearl Faulkner Edwards of Reelsboro; her grandparents, Isham "Jack" Hamet, Lula Ethel Dunn Edwards of Franklin County, Green and Lillian Annie Belle Faulkner of Vance County; her brothers, Larry McKay Edwards and Jerry Wayne Edwards; and her former husband Euclid Duval Armstrong, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Marie Armstrong Cobb (David) of Johnston County and Andrea Leigh Armstrong Maxwell (Richard) of Albemarle County, Virginia; her sister Mavis Jeanette Cahoon Holton of Craven County; her grandchildren, Brenda Michelle Cobb Woodel (Brad), Andrew David Cobb (Lauren), Nicholas Stuart Cobb, Jack Ferguson Maxwell, Evelyn Armstrong Maxwell and Lucille Denyse Maxwell; and her great grandchildren, Connor Gage Woodel and Aubrey Nicole Woodel. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
