She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David Merrill and Ersil Willis Merrill of Beaufort, NC.; her daughter Melanie Lawrence Marcotte (Paul) of Morehead City; her siblings, Fred Merrill (Lee) of Texas and Marilyn Weger of Morehead City; her grandchildren, Frank Galizia Jr. of New Bern, Chris Galizia (Lisa) of Morehead City, Trey Lawrence of Morehead City, Meredith Chisenhall (Lonnie) of Morehead City, Riley Lawrence of Raleigh and Jaxon Lawrence of Morehead City; her great grandchildren, Christian Galizia, Cannon Chisenhall, Cutter Chisenhall and Loftin "Rosie" Chisenhall; her nieces and nephews, Vanda Davis of Texas, Piper Merrill of Texas, Donnie Weger of Cary, Kim Lewis of Morehead City and Lynette Ross of Morehead City; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Mackenzie of Morehead City, Peyton of Morehead City and Jaxon Whitaker of Morehead City; her husband Dalmon Lawrence Sr.; her son Dalmon Lawrence Jr.; and her sister Linda Woosley of Morehead City.
