She was predeceased by: her parents, Odell West and Mary West; and her sisters, Edna West Floyd and Joyce West Riggs. She is survived by: her husband Ronald D. Styron; her daughters, Rebecca Nussbaum (Sheldon) of Charlotte and Angela Shafer (Carter Graham) of Emerald Isle; her brother Clarence O. West of Virginia Beach, VA; her siblings-in-law, Debi Kesler (Eugene) of Virginia Beach, VA and Michael Styron; her great-nephews, Clinton Kesler and Travis Kelser (Tori); and her grandchildren, Amber Lockrem (Matt), Ryan Shafer (Kaitlyn), Justin McSwain (Kristina), Lauren Beck (Andrew) and Zachary Shafer (Myesha).
