She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Oliphant and Amber Oliphant; and her son Jody Meadows. She is survived by: her husband Frank Meadows; her children, Melissa Patterson (Greg) of Newport and Jamie Meadows of Morehead City; her grandchildren, Caitlin Schryver (Tyler), Alli Davis (Shelby), Austin Patterson, Tyler Patterson and Julia Patterson; her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Meadows and Bob Meadows; her niece Lenore Meadows-Taylor; and her nephews, Dr. Steven Meadows, John Meadows and Sable.
