Alice Russell Ebron Cherry Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Russell Ebron Cherry of Morehead City, North Carolina, who passed away on July 12, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, John I. Ebron and Rev. Roland Cherry; her parents, Dannie Russell and Polly Russell; her daughter Mildred Smith; her grandsons, Jason Ebron and Vernon Paul Garner, III; and her siblings, Lucy Haila, Alena Glancy, Daisy Russell, Dorothy Nichols, Mabel Swinson, Dixie Smith, Roy (Leon Franklin) of Robert, L. F. and Donnie Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Rosa Garner (Paul) of Newport, Gene Ebron (Gale) of Merrimon and Clyde Ebron (Tammie) of Morehead City; her son-in-law Henry "Buddy" Smith (Judy) of South River; her grandchildren, Cindy Payne (Danny) of Newport, Renee Howard (Mark) of Greenville, Sheila Smith of Morehead City, Sabrina Weires (Casey) of Newport, Christie Williams (Shawn) of Newport, Todd Ebron of Manassa, VA and Scot Ebron of King George, VA; and her siblings, Gertrude Paul of Hamburg, NY, Ann Hawkins of Wallace, NC and Ronnie Russell of Orrum, NC. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
