She was predeceased by: her father Albert Steele; her sister Bobbie Allen; her son-in-law Bryan Scott Jacobsen; her niece Linda Holvey; her mother Ethel Bell; and her aunt Bobbie.
She is survived by: her husband Charles L. Dixon; her children, Vivian Gail Dixon of Morehead City, NC, Myra Dixon Jacobsen of Garner, NC and Charles Albert Dixon of Raleigh, NC; her brother Robert Ted Steele (Alicia) of Surfside, SC; her grandchildren, Tina Godby, Chris Roberts, Chad Jacobsen and Brandon Dixon; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Lopez, Cale Roberts and Dixon Roberts.
