She was predeceased by: her parents, Elisha Washington Lamm and Sallie Coleman Lamm; her husband Garland Fountain; her son-in-law Greg Proctor; and her sisters, Lorraine Davis and Alberta Ferrell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan F. Proctor of Morehead City, NC and Martha F. Cherry (Michael) of Cape Carteret, NC; her grandchildren, Bradley Allen Proctor (Hope) of Huntsville, AL, Samuel Wesley Proctor (Addie) of Torrance, CA, Stephen Coleman Cherry (Anna-Dreher) of Rocky Mount, NC and Georgia Belle Cherry of Cape Carteret, NC; and her great grandchildren, Christian, Opal, Seth, Charlie and Gracen Proctor. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Englewood United Methodist Church (300 S Circle Dr, Rocky Mount, NC 27807). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
