He was predeceased by: his parents, Asberry Cornelius Ballard and Gertie Louise Burchette Ballard; and his brothers, Harvey, Bobby, Tommy and Pete Ballard.
He is survived by: his children, TraJen Ballard, Kala, Kara and Kana Ballard; and his siblings, Peggy Griffin, Asalee Whisnant, Freddy Ballard (Jane) and Roger Ballard (Cindy). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
