He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Talmadge Fletcher and Bertha Elvira Rhodes Fletcher; his wife June Marie Gentle Fletcher; and his siblings, Guy Fletcher Sr., Gene Fletcher, John Henry Fletcher, Bruce Fletcher, Sylvia Smithey, Hazel Burgess, Lula Mae Klutz and Fern Duncan.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Fletcher (Rebecca) of Moravian Falls and Jennifer Fletcher Bumgarner (William James) of Bowie; and his grandchildren, Laura Jordan, Dr. Steven Bumgarner, Bradley Bumgarner, Karen Bumgarner, Jeffrey Lenderman and Kristan Lenderman. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.
