He is survived by: his friend Chad Hendren; his children, John Demeny, Whitley Demeny Minton (Robbie), Anna Rose Demeny and Jacob Demeny; his grandchildren, Ryder, Myles, Kinsley and Emery; his parents, Jim Demeny and Nancy Demeny of Kannapolis, NC.; his brother Kevin; his sister-in-law Annette of Lincolnton, NC.; and his nieces and nephews, Kayla Demeny Dalton (Isaac), Megan Demeny of Maiden, NC, Ashley Lane of Winston Salem, Zachary Lawing and Sam Lawing of Lincolnton, NC.. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
