He is survived by: his wife Patricia Brooks Matthews of Moravian Falls; his children, Melissa Barnhart (Douglas) of Kentucky and Mason Matthews (Bethany) of Kentucky; his brother Joseph Cini of New Jersey; and his grandchildren, Logan Barnhart of Kentucky, Mallory Barnhart of Kentucky, Macy Kate Matthews of Kentucky and Will Matthews of Kentucky.
