She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bower and Mary Lunsford Sheppard; and her son Anthony Wayne Sheppard. She is survived by: her husband Donald Sales; and her siblings, Kimberly Young, Beth Wood, Billy Sheppard and Shane Sheppard.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (270 State Rd 2335, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659).
