She is survived by: her children, James Robert Carlton, Sr. and Marie Carlton Taylor (Lee) of Gastonia; her grandchild James Robert Carlton, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Andrew Carlton, Matthew Greer, Allyson Greer and Sydney Greer; her sister Mary Brafford of Boomer; and also, Becky Carlton Greer (Eric), Trey Taylor and Thomas Taylor (Caitlin).
