He is survived by: his wife Lillian Sloop Eldreth; and his siblings, Judy E. Foster of Millers Creek, Thomas Fred Eldreth of Moravian Falls, Bill Eldreth of Moravian Falls and Jim Eldreth of West Jefferson.
