He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Abe and Jeanette Addie Teague Minton; and his brother-in-law Clayton Casstevens. He is survived by: his sisters, Judy Beadenkopf of Moravian Falls, Peggy Absher of Traphill and Bonnie Clonch (Arnold) of North Wilkesboro; his grandmother Hamby (Michael) of Jonesville; and his brother Terry Minton (Bonnie) of Wilkesboro. He is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews.
