With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay Gentle Durham of Moravian Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on January 2, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Andrew and Leah Alverta Benge Gentle; and her siblings, Virginia Owens, Jay Gentle, Paul Gentle, Bill Gentle and Jim Gentle.
She is survived by: her husband Reece Durham; her children, Rebecca Hamilton of North Wilkesboro, Tammy Church (Randy) of Millers Creek and Buck Staley (Kelly) of Millers Creek; her grandchildren, Kesley Faw (Dustin) of Millers Creek, Madison Hill (Zeraan) of Augusta, GA and Garrett Staley of Millers Creek; her great grandchildren, Nova Faw of Millers Creek, Zaida Hill of Augusta, GA and Wes Hill of Augusta, GA; and her siblings, Nancy Bishop of Millers Creek, Barbara Blevins of Boomer, Wayne Gentle of Kannapolis and Charlie Gentle of Hickory.
