It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Lynn Bauguess of Moravian Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on March 12, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Shirley Gaynell Stout; her husband James Walter Bauguess; and her sister Faith Welborn. She is survived by: her father Earnest Johnson (Sherri McKenzie) of Frederick, Maryland; her children, Ashleigh Bauguess of Moravian Falls, Amy Pierce of Lexington, James Baugess Jr. (Shannon) of Moravian Falls and David Johnson of Winston-Salem; and her sisters, Charlotte "Susie" Hundley (Scott) of Lewisville and Rochelle Biggs of Maryland. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many family and friends.
