He is survived by: his father Lonnie Watkins of McGrady; his children, Brittany Watkins of Millers Creek, Jesse Watkins of Maryland, Cody Watkins of Maryland and Jennifer Barton (Michael) of Maryland; his granddaughter Allison Lewis; and his siblings, Billy Watkins, Jimmy Watkins, Tommy Watkins, Luke Watkins, Harley Watkins, Matt Watkins, Howard Watkins, Mark Watkins, Rose Shive, Joyce Smith, Carrie Watkins, Ada Watkins and Ruthie Bergman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
