He is survived by: his spouse Ollie Tipton; his children, Candida Tipton, Eric Tipton (Amy) and Christy Porter (Keith); his grandchildren, Ashley, Arleta, Catrina, Bryson and Hayden; his great grandchildren, Axton, Elijah and Beckham; and his siblings, Sue Noto, Alice Minter, Nelly, Patsy Sharpe, Norma Ervin, Mary Ray, Pamela Brookshire, Glenn Tipton and David Tipton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Linneys Grove Baptist Church (6160 Sulphur Springs Rd, Hiddenite, NC 28636). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
