It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Watts of Moravian Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on September 8, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Odell Watts and Christeenia Houck Watts; his brothers, Paul Watts and Claude Watts; and his son Mel Skogstad.

He is survived by: his wife Mary "Sue" Watts; his children, Kathy Warner (Ken) of Michigan, Becky Testerman (Calvin) of Moravian Falls, Tony Watts of North Carolina and Robert Skogstad (Thaise) of Texas; his sisters, Elizabeth McDonald of Hudson, Mary Gilbert of Lenoir and Edith Watts of Boomer; and also, Lois Jestes of North Wilkesboro and Blanch Jones of North Wilkesboro. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchild.
