He is survived by: his wife Shirley Elizabeth Dula Tevepaugh; his children, James Tevepaugh Jr. of Brushy Mountain, Shelia Hamby (Junior) of Boomer, Phyllis Keistler (Mark) of Statesville and Cynthia Tevepaugh (Ken Eller) of Brushy Mountain; and his grandchildren, Candy Bowman (Jason) of Taylorsville, Nichols Carson (Christina) of Madien, Thomas Tevepaugh of Brushy Mountain and Chancelor Tevepaugh of Brushy Mountain. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
