He is survived by: his children, Monica Hawn of North Wilkesboro and James Wesley Hawn (Julie McManaway) of Moravian Falls; his grandchildren, Mya Queen, Lakyn Coles and Nehemiah Coles; and his great grandchild Amari Coles.
