The memory of Jacqueline Lynn Wait of Moravian Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2025 at the age of 55, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Jacqueline may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jacqueline touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Edwin Phalen and Ruby Jean Lynn; and her grandparents, Robert and Opal Lynn. She is survived by: her children, Kara Ruegsegger (Connor), Abigail Wait, Nathan Wait and Seth Wait; her grandchildren, Hayleen Wait and Amaria Wait; her sister Janice Huggins (Bill); and her niece Sydney Huggins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wilkes Seventh Day Adventist Church (3879 NC-16 S, Moravian Falls, NC 28681). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
