With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Clayton Anderson of Moravian Falls, North Carolina, who passed away on January 24, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Anderson and Ruie Virgie Estep Anderson; his wife Dicie Moore Anderson; and his son James Anderson. He is survived by: his children, Helen Scott of Kannapolis, David Anderson of Kannapolis and Jerry Anderson (Janet) of Pilot Mountain; and his grandchildren, Angela Gehr (Dan), Kathy Gehr (Dave), Joanna Anderson (David), Robert Scott (Dana), Carrie Scott, Sarah Scott, Jeremy Willard (Krista), Christopher Anderson (Amanda), James Anderson (Mary Catherine), Joshua Anderson (Amy), Steve Fowler (Patricia), Greg Fowler (Sharon) and Michele Day (Mark).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church (9134 Brushy Mountain Rd, Moravian Falls, NC 28654). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:45 PM and at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at the same location.
