He is survived by: his wife Louise Bizzell; his children, Marlise Newman (Eric) of Mooresville, LouAnn Wallace (Charlie) of Moravian Falls, Leigh Webb of Gastonia, Buzz Bizzell (Andrea) of Charlotte, John of Moravian Falls and Matthew Bizzell of Moravian Falls; his grandchildren, Joseph, Phoebe Newman, Anna Newman, Ben Newman, Dave Gaeta, Mary, Ryan Meade, Amy, Jacob Early, Jeremy, Catherine Webb, Lauren McAbee, Abigail, Evan Desrosiers, Daniel, Ashley Bizzell, Natalie Bizzell, Kendall, Shane Horne, Anna Bizzell, Elsie Bizzell, Dr. Samantha (Abe Jaroszewski), Dr. Christina (Dylan Brokaw) and James D. Martinez; and his sister Emlynn Shoemaker of Ocean Isle. He is also survived by twenty-nine great grandchildren.
