She is survived by: her husband James Nelson; her children, Rosanna Nelson Barber (Randall) of Wilkesboro, NC, Alex F. Nelson (Dawn) of East Bend, NC, Christopher R. Nelson (Barbara) of Ronda, NC, Billy Joe Nelson of Hays, NC and Johnsie H. Nelson (Jennifer) of Hays, NC; and her siblings, H. D. Morton of Mulberry, NC and Jessie Canter of Taylorsville, NC.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
